Excel Swim School programs are successful learn to swim and introductory competitive swim programs developed by a former Olympic Swimmer and Coach. 

Paul Midgley is the Director and founder of Excel Swim School.  Under his coaching, swimmers from the London Aquatic Club have participated in both the 1988, 1992 Olympics and the 1996, 2000 Para-Olympic programs.  Paul is currently the head coach of the London Aquatic Club and was a 1992 Olympic Coach and swimmer in the 1976 Montreal Olympics. 

With his 35 years experience in swimming, he has developed an Aquatic program unique to London. His guiding philosophy for the school is clearly put:

 “Every student is an adventure and a challenge. No one can learn if

they are not happy. If they are tentative, we help them overcome their fears.

When they are ready, we take them to the next level.”
